A Little Bit About Me
I was born and raised in Wisconsin and earned my B.A. in Music Education at Carroll College (now Carroll University) in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Immediately after college, I taught music in Seneca Public Schools (located near Prairie du Chien) to grades K through 12.
After marrying my husband Tom, we lived in Minnesota and Indiana before moving to Sheboygan in 1988. I stayed home for several years to raise my three children who all graduated from Holy Family School. During those years I held many volunteer positions at the school and even served as a substitute teacher.
In January 2005, I began as Music Teacher for Holy Family School and continued in the position when St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School was formed. I am a strong proponent of Catholic Education and believe that at Seton Catholic we provide the best possible opportunities for children to both gain academic achievement and grow in their Christian faith. I am also the Music Director for Holy Name of Jesus Parish, one of the supporting parishes for Seton Catholic.
In my free time, I enjoy knitting, gardening, reading, early morning walks along Lake Michigan, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers!
